My personal practice began in 2009 while trying to find some kind of relief from chronic back pain. I really didn't know what to expect. I was intimidated and nervous. I had struggled with my weight throughout my entire life and never enjoyed exercise.
I was welcomed into the calm, quiet space with dimmed lighting and soft music, and my life was forever changed. I began to understand and appreciate my body for it's strengths and all the while, my outlook on life started to improve drastically.
My intention in teaching is to provide an experience where students feel safe and cared for, whether in a gentle restorative practice or a challenging Vinyasa flow. I hope that I'm able to pass along a little of the magic I experience in my own practice to my students.
Current 500 Hour Certification from a Yoga Alliance Registered school with
2,500+ hours of teaching experience in Hatha, Gentle, Restorative, Vinyasa, Yin and Nidra styles of Yoga.
