Gianna has been doing yoga since her teens. In 2015 she moved to Florida from Upstate NY to start a new chapter in life and pursue teaching yoga. In 2016, She graduated from Yoga Loft Tampa under Ashley Theiser with 200hrs of Hatha Yoga Training. In 2018 graduated with another 300hrs of training in the Bapstiste power yoga style at Warrior One Orlando under Kim Zamoff. She also has certifications in Meditation, Spinning, Rowing, Personal Training, is Level 2 Reiki Certified & holds an Associates of Art. When not teaching yoga she works as a entertainer who walks on stilts and makes balloon art! On her free time she enjoys traveling, adventures, nature, vegan cooking, music and hosting yoga retreats!
Gianna’s teaching is extremely versatile. She can lead you through a sweaty, challenging, and, inspiring power vinyasa class or a slow, deep, meditative and mindful restorative class. She makes sure every student is seen, safe, and enjoying the here and now. She loves to incorporate singing bowls at savasana.
How Yoga Serves Gianna
She struggles with chronic sciatic pain, and uses yoga as a preventative & healing medicine. Yoga also serves her emotionally relieving depression, restlessness, and inertia. Yoga has helped her to release stuck guilt and other negative emotions from the past, and continues to help her release what does not serve her. Yoga also gives her a sense of connectedness with oneself and the community.
